This morning Anne and I attended a delicious breakfast at Bistro C along with 100 other people and the State Government Climate Change and Sustainability Minister, Hon Kate Jones MP.
What was the occassion you may ask? We were there to celebrate being awarded EcoBiz status, alongside 7 other 'green' businesses in the region.
Ecobiz is a free State Government program that has partnered with the Sunshine Coast Regional Council to assist Sunshine Coast businesses become more environmentally sustainable.
We can highly recommend the program, it was simple to follow and the Council staff were fabulous. Thanks Emma Menzies!!
And what is more important is that we saved money along the way!
